Apart from making a character sheet for Ogres and Underworlds; I made a slight alteration, to make one for Swords & Savagery. I hope you find it useful.

I see you are planning on more adventures for Swords and Savagery and am curious if you are going to be releasing any PC spell casting supplements? I reluctantly ask as I prefer Ogres & Underworlds so work on S&S takes away from that . I do play Swords and Savagery on occasion a non-gamer friend and I will play for a few hours now and then and S&S is easier to use for a zero prep dungeon hack and easier for the casual player to deal with. Warren The future of Swords and Savagery is something that is being considered now. I want the game to have more of an identity, especially with adventures (and that is something that holds true for UA and O&U, also). Yes, there will be spell casters for S&S. As I'm looking at specific "adventure models" for S&S, UA and O&U, I think there are going to be some mechanics changes to S&S. I envision Swords and Savagery to be an easy to sit down, pick up and play game, and I want the game and the presentation of the adventures I have in mind to click. To get back to your question, I'm just not sure where the spell casters will show up, but they will. Glad to hear you and your friend are checking out the game.

We have found and like that S&S is easy to play intermittently by which I mean a couple weeks go by you pick up your character review it for 3 minutes and are good to go. O&U I generally have an idea how I want to develop a character so if I come back to one after a pause I have to think it through more particularly if a level is near. Special abilities make S&S more fun than B/X to play but the everyman skill list and how you gain them makes leveling up easier than O&U. O&U is great for making the exact character you want to play but you can end up with characters that aren't as effective as monsters of the same level. <shrug> Depends on who I am playing with and what we feel like for an adventure which one we play. Warren Cool. That is pretty much how I designed the games to be -- Simple yet still some flexibility (S&S) and develop the characters you want to play (O&U). In O&U, a few things that should help "character concept" characters vs monsters are ability score modifiers, items and special abilities. Between the three a character can usually hold there own. Of course, not all characters are meant to be combat maniacs and have their own usefulness and areas where they shine outside of the scrap. One of my favorite characters I played for a long time in Rolemaster was a mystic who used sai daggers. Glad you and your friends are enjoying the games. That is great. There will be more coming for S&S.
